A girl named Taylor asked him where he got his ideas and suggested that he write a story about a girl who has a favorite blanket and a big brother who makes it dirty. She also sent a drawing of herself holding up a stained blanket and crying. Robert Munsch wrote this story and send it back to her. English paperback edition by Robert Munsch.
